Shimokitazawa

This proposal was designed for Tokyo, the capital of Japan. It focused on an area about 2 km long along the railway tracks that have been decommissioned. The main principle of the proposal was to "invisibly stitch together" the urban fabric that was segmented by the railroad, recovering the original connections and creating a high-quality public space where commerce, leisure, green areas and housing can be integrated.
