Plano de Desenvolvimento Urbano para Barra da Tijuca

The Plan is based on planning guidelines aimed at coherently articulating Barra da Tijuca with the other spaces of the city, mainly in environmental and mobility aspects, focusing on short-term interventions at the neighborhood scale, highlighting aspects of sustainability, diversity and design. The proposed actions aim to consolidate Barra da Tijuca as an address compatible with the cosmopolitan character of the city of Rio de Janeiro, based on the implementation of mixed-use complexes in areas of great residential predominance, the mixture of functions, income, age, use and architectural typology in the profile of real estate developments, and the creation of higher density nuclei that will act as dynamos for the creation of this local synergy.
