Parque Bossa Nova

The Bossa Nova Park is located in the Leblon neighborhood, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, an emblematic territory for its historical and cultural representativeness. On a site once occupied by a police battalion, a new showcase for Brazilian culture and art will be built, with its focus on Bossa Nova music. It is a project that opens up to the city, inviting entry through a large square that surrounds the building, enriched by a careful landscape design. The building itself, comprising 5,000 m², pays homage to this very special expression of Brazilian culture, resting gracefully on the ground like the keys of a piano keyboard. Its design aims to reflect, as the lyrics of Tom Jobim's Garota de Ipanema would say "a sweet swing on the way to the sea".
