Macaé

The municipality of Macaé is located in the north of Rio de Janeiro State, with about 200,000 inhabitants. The city has undergone profound transformations since Petrobras' decision to install its exploration and production operations base for the Campos Basin there, which was accompanied by a large number of companies, suppliers and population contingents. The work brings together a set of new ideas, guidelines and proposals organized in the themes of Urban Structuring (urban growth, environmental sanitation, expansion areas, housing, beach occupation, environment, road system and public transport) and Strategic Urban Projects.
