Contribuições ao Desenvolvimento Urbano do Município de União da Vitória

The proposals for the Urban Structuring of União da Vitória consider the precepts of the New Urban Agenda of Habitat III, with urbanistic contributions for the transformative, sustainable and resilient development of the city.

Among the commitments of the New Urban Agenda are the reinvigoration of planning, integrated urban and territorial design, optimizing the spatial dimension of urban form, with positive results due to urban spatial strategies aiming at the sustainable use of natural resources and soil, adequate compactness and density, polycentrism and mixed uses.

In the analysis of the relevant elements, the components that dimension the municipality were considered, focusing on the formation of the city, its regional insertion, environmental constraints, social dynamics, economic profile, urban infrastructure aspects, land use, mobility, institutional aspects and existing studies and projects, with information that dimension União da Vitória.

The strategic projects refer to the "Urban Acupunctures", characterized by punctual interventions such as the conception of a Brand for the city, focusing on concepts and brand building; the Passenger Shelter identified as a special urban equipment of urban furniture; the São Cristóvão Park, defined for the use of the railroad bed in the São Cristóvão neighborhood and part of the Urban Structuring Axis; Rua da União, which consists of the proposal to build a new place for meeting and leisure, shared by pedestrians and cyclists in the space that establishes the border between União da Vitória / Paraná and Porto União / Santa Catarina, defined by the layout of the railroad tracks, with a covered modular structure.
