Taylor de Souza Lopes

Taylor de Souza Lopes is an Architecture and Urban Planning student at Tuiuti University of Paraná (UTP) and a member of the team at Jaime Lerner Arquitetos Associados, where he collaborates on activities related to urban development, territorial analysis, and the study of the city's spatial dynamics.

His academic and professional trajectory has been shaped by work in urban studies, the interpretation of urban planning regulations, and support for territorial diagnostics, with a focus on the relationship between urban structure, historical processes, and contemporary transformations. His approach is grounded in understanding the city as an integrated system in which technical, social, and environmental aspects are interconnected.

Before joining the firm, he worked for several years as an intern in the Technical Cadastre Division of the Municipal Secretariat of Urbanism of Curitiba, participating in the updating and correction of land parcel records, the preparation of historical studies, and the analysis of territorial information. This experience strengthened his expertise in urban cartography, land subdivision, and technical territorial analysis.

Alongside his academic and professional activities, he has been a member of the Scout Movement since 2008. This experience has contributed to the development of skills related to leadership, teamwork, socio-environmental responsibility, and collaborative problem-solving, all of which are reflected in his practice in architecture and urban planning.
