Dóris Regina Teixeira

Dóris Teixeira has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. Appointed by the City Hall of Curitiba, she began her work in 1992 at the Regional Matriz, where she participated in the project of Visual Depollution of the Historical Sector. She worked at IPPUC - Institute of Research and Urban Planning of Curitiba, in the Technical Advisory of the Mayor's Office - AGAPE. She was the architect responsible for the elaboration of the project and monitoring of the work of the Cinematheque of Curitiba and for the coordination of the "Rebouças Project", an initiative of urban revitalization of the area of the old Industrial Zone of the city.

During his professional career, he accompanied the projects and works of the City Memorial, Streets of Citizenship Fazendinha and Boqueirão, House of Memory, among others. He participated in the elaboration of the exhibition "Curitiba, Time and Paths", in commemoration of the 300 years of the city, curated by the architect Gisela Magalhães.From 1994 to 1995, she worked at the Paris City Hall in an exchange program with the Curitiba City Hall, interning in the Urban Planning, Green Areas and Street Lighting departments. She was involved in the projects of revitalization and landscaping of Place Michel de Bourges, restructuring of Place Violet and expansion of the leisure areas of Square Bayen. From 1998 to 2000 she was an advisor to the Government of the State of Paraná in the "Center for Special Projects" participating in the team that prepared projects for various secretariats of the state government. At the end of 2000 to 2003 she became the President Director of the Guaíra Cultural Center. From 2003 to 2005, she worked at the IPPUC's Historical and Artistic Heritage Service, co-authoring the renovation project for the Novelas Curitibanas Theater; she took over the Historical Heritage Executive, between 2004 and 2005 within the proposal for the new IPPUC organization chart. Coordinates the Project for the Review of the Units of Interest for Preservation, and the project for the Restoration and Readjustment of the Municipal Palace of Curitiba, in the same period is a member, representative of IPPUC, of the Commission for the Evaluation of Cultural Heritage - CAPC, in the Secretariat of Urbanism. From 2006 works in the Project Sector of the Cultural Foundation of Curitiba, having accompanied the projects and works of the Novelas Curitibanas Theater, Cinematheque of Curitiba, Santa Maria Chapel, Augusto Stresser Reading House, Kozak House, among others, also works in the Management of Built and Integrated Heritage of the Directorate of PCI.

Participated in several curatorial projects and preparation of exhibitions - using the images of the collection of the House of Memory - among them, Synval Stocchero - Curitiba in the photographer's sights, Curitiba years 50, in Curitiba Memorial and Photographic Travel - Wischral and Groff, records of the decades 1920 a 1950, in Casa Romário Martins.

She is co-author with Architect Mauro Magnabosco of the Cine Passeio project, within the revitalization planning of the central area of the city, accompanies the implementation of the work between 2016 a 2019.

In 2021, with Architect Valéria Bechara, she participated in the restoration project and work on the house called Casa da Estrela, an 18th century building in São Luiz do Purunã, together with the office Jaime Lerner Arquitetos Associados.
