Érika Poleto

An architect at JLAA since 2013, she holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), a master’s degree in Urban Planning and Public Policy also from UFPR, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Architecture and Urbanism at FAU-USP. She also holds an MBA in Project Management from USP/ESALQ, consolidating a solid academic background that combines technical expertise, strategic planning, and an integrated vision of the city. With 12 years of experience in urban planning and Masterplan development, she works in the coordination and management of projects of different scales and contexts, always guided by principles of sustainability, social inclusion, and territorial appreciation.

A specialist in housing, urban and regional planning, urban design, and housing policies, she has developed more than 30 masterplans during her trajectory at JLAA, contributing to the formulation of urban strategies aimed at improving quality of life and strengthening local socioeconomic dynamics.

Among the main projects she has coordinated or integrated are the Integrated Urban Development Strategic Plan for the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro (PDUI/RMRJ) (Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro, 2015–2018), the Urban Communities Projects Phases I and II in Angola (Kora Angola, 2011 and 2021), the Balneário Camboriú Masterplan (Municipality of Balneário Camboriú, 2020), and the Model Project for SEMAS and IDEFLORBio in Pará (Gopa Worldwide Consultants, 2021).
