José Roberto de Góis

Graduated in Geology (1985) from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), he holds a Master’s degree in Geochemistry and Geotectonics (1995) from the University of São Paulo (USP), Institute of Geosciences. He also completed a Specialization in Exploration Geology (1985–1986) and a Continuing Education Program in Photogeology (1985), both through the Department of Geology at UFPR. He has served as Managing Partner and Technical Director of Geoplanejamento Ltda. since 1987 and has more than 40 years of professional experience, primarily in the fields of mineral exploration and environmental geology, having developed projects throughout Brazil.

His work encompasses several areas of the geosciences, with emphasis on mineral exploration (industrial and metallic minerals), geological mapping, and groundwater resource assessment. His expertise also includes geotechnical and geophysical surveys (electrical resistivity, magnetometry, and related methods), land use and land occupation studies, territorial planning, and environmental geology.
