Jaqueline dos Santos Padilha

Jaqueline is a librarian, graduated from Centro Universitário Claretiano (2023), with a specialization in Collection Management and Preservation. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the Federal University of Paraná (2017) and a postgraduate degree in Archival Science from the Metropolitan Faculty of São Paulo (2025). She is currently pursuing an MBA in Digital Document Preservation and Management, focusing on the organization, preservation, and accessibility of information in hybrid and digital environments.

Since 2023, she has been working at the Jaime Lerner Institute and Jaime Lerner Architects Associates, carrying out activities related to the management, organization, and preservation of documentary collections. Her work is guided by the understanding of archives and collections as territories of memory, where documents, projects, records, and narratives build and preserve the legacy of architecture, urbanism, and the transformations of the city. Drawing on an interdisciplinary background that combines library science, archival science, and sociology, she develops practices focused on safeguarding documentary heritage, preserving institutional memory, and fostering connections between knowledge, urban space, and society. She is particularly dedicated to the contemporary challenges of digital preservation, understanding access to information as a fundamental component of collective memory. In addition to her archival responsibilities, she also collaborates with the Jaime Lerner Institute’s Guided Tours initiative, helping to strengthen the connection between legacy, urban space, and the public.
