Ana Luiza Ottersbach
Arquiteta e Urbanista l Architect and Urbanist
She is an architect and urban planner, graduated from Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná, and holds a Master’s degree in Cities from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC/Barcelona). She works in the development of urban planning projects, with experience in analyzing complex territorial dynamics, preparing diagnostics, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, using geoprocessing tools, conducting participatory methodologies, and liaising with public administrators at different levels.
Since 2019, she has been part of the team at Jaime Lerner Arquitetos Associados, working on the coordination and development of urban projects that guide the construction of future visions for cities, integrating mobility, green infrastructure, urban regeneration, and cultural and tourism enhancement. Among the main projects developed are works carried out in municipalities such as Santos (SP), Macapá (AP), Horizontina (RS), Penha (SC), Vilhena (RO), and Patos de Minas (MG), among others. She also has experience in the private sector, working on the development of master plans for subdivisions and planned neighborhoods in different Brazilian states.
She is the creator and coordinator of the Guided Visits program of the Instituto Jaime Lerner, an initiative that monthly welcomes enthusiasts from Brazil and abroad to learn about the history of urban planning in Curitiba.
In the third sector, she structured and coordinated the social urbanism project *Mar Está para Peixe*, aimed at a fishing community in Fortaleza, Ceará. The initiative integrated actions in communication, social participation, gastronomy, urbanism, architecture, and oceanography, with the goal of strengthening the artisanal fishing value chain, valuing local culture, and promoting sustainability and entrepreneurship in the Serviluz territory.
