Requested by Odebretch Angola, “Quadra Social” is an ensemble of kindergarden, elementary and high schools, library, health care center, sport courts and also areas for community events, market place and cultural activities. Organized in a block, this multifunctional set is planned for a consolidated urban area – in this case, the neighboorhood of Zango, located 30 km south of Luanda. The project aims at providing a quality urban environment, with good solutions in terms of the design of the public spaces and the architectures, suited to the environmental conditions and to the identity references of Angolan culture.
